Now that you have been admitted to a master, certificate or doctoral program at St. Cloud State University, it is time to prepare to be an active student in our system. After reviewing 和/or acting on Steps 1-4 below, watch for an email inviting you to a new student orientation prior to classes starting.

Your first step to accessing all of the systems 和 services you need to start your journey as a graduate student is to activate your StarID.
We encourage all students to search 和 apply for scholarships using different key words. Deadlines 和 scholarship terms can be found within Huskies Scholarships.
International graduate scholarships are available for students starting throughout the year.
Full-time students who have been admitted to a graduate program are encouraged to apply for a graduate assistantship. Programs 和 departments offer a mix of on campus 和 remote assistantships.
On-campus 和 off-campus housing 和 an estimate of housing 和 living expenses are available for graduate students. St. 云的 cost of living is comparable to other Upper Midwest cities of its size.
A variety of orientation options are available for all new graduate students through the School of Graduate Studies. If you have questions – such as where to park or how to register for classes – the virtual orientation will provide answers. While the virtual orientation is meant to help new graduate students, it can serve you throughout your graduate career at St. Cloud State University.
International students should expect to attend the listed orientation sessions 和 view the International next steps. International students who do not have a completed baccalaureate or graduate degree from a U.S. institution will be registered for EAP 151. This is a required administrative orientation course. Sponsored students (Fulbright, Muskie, IREX) are not required to complete this course.
